Aldwyck Housing Group is a social housing provider (Housing Association) delivering affordable homes to rent or buy and providing supported housing and care services to our customers in communities across the southeast and east of England.

We provide homes and management services for over 25,000 people, from rented and part-owned  homes to properties for outright sale.

We offer specialist support and accommodation for vulnerable people, such as people with mental illness, learning disabilities, young people, people with disabilities and the elderly.

Our aim

Is to provide short-term housing related support to vulnerable people who need assistance to maintain their tenancy or live independently.

Floating Support Service

Our Floating Support Service provides a holistic package of support to vulnerable people to enable them to maintain their tenancy and independence. The service offers flexible, short-term housing support to people for a maximum of two years.

A Floating Support Worker will provide support tailored to individual needs. This could include helping them to:

  • Manage their home
  • Manage their money
  • Stay safe and be secure in their home
  • Manage their health and lifestyle
  • Go to work or college
  • Enjoy their spare time
  • Achieve their life choices
  • Liaise with agencies

Working in partnership with other support agencies, Floating Support Workers will make regular visits to service users with the intention of providing a range of support tailored to individual needs.

Applications to the service are assessed for suitability by Aldwyck’s supported housing staff. All applicants are assessed according to the “Eligibility Criteria”.
